W ieviel sie herrlich gemacht und ihren Mutwillen gehabt hat, so viel schenket ihr Qual und Leid ein! Denn sie spricht in ihrem Herzen: Ich sitze als Königin und bin keine Witwe, und Leid werde ich nicht sehen.

Pe cît s'a slăvit pe sine însăş, şi s'a desfătat în risipă, pe atît daţi -i chin şi tînguire! Pentrucă zice în inima ei:,,Şed ca împărăteasă, nu sînt văduvă, şi nu voi şti ce este tînguirea!``
