d aß nicht das Land sage, daraus du uns geführt hast: Der HERR konnte sie nicht ins Land bringen, das er ihnen verheißen hatte, und hat sie darum ausgeführt, daß er ihnen gram war, daß er sie tötete in der Wüste!

lest those of the land from which thou didst bring us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them or because he hated them, he has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.
