E in Weib wirst du dir vertrauen lassen; aber ein anderer wird bei ihr schlafen. Ein Haus wirst du bauen; aber du wirst nicht darin wohnen. Einen Weinberg wirst du pflanzen; aber du wirst seine Früchte nicht genießen.

You shall betroth a wife, but another man will violate her; you shall build a house, but you will not live in it; you shall plant a vineyard, but you will not use its fruit.
