A llein zu dem Lande der Kinder Ammon kamst du nicht, weder zu allem, was am Bach Jabbok war, noch zu den Städten auf dem Gebirge noch zu allem, das uns der HERR, unser Gott, verboten hatte.

Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near; all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever Yahweh our God forbade us.
