D ieweil wir denn wissen, daß der HERR zu fürchten ist, fahren wir schön mit den Leuten; aber Gott sind wir offenbar. Ich hoffe aber, daß wir auch in eurem Gewissen offenbar sind.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
