D enn Gott, der da hieß das Licht aus der Finsternis hervorleuchten, der hat einen hellen Schein in unsere Herzen gegeben, daß durch uns entstünde die Erleuchtung von der Erkenntnis der Klarheit Gottes in dem Angesichte Jesu Christi.

For God, who said, “ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
