D enn ich schrieb euch in großer Trübsal und Angst des Herzens mit viel Tränen; nicht, daß ihr solltet betrübt werden, sondern auf daß ihr die Liebe erkennet, welche ich habe sonderlich zu euch.

for out of much tribulation and pressure of heart I wrote to you through many tears, not that ye might be made sorry, but that ye might know the love that I have more abundantly toward you.
