D enn wir wagen uns nicht unter die zu rechnen oder zu zählen, so sich selbst loben, aber dieweil sie an sich selbst messen und halten allein von sich selbst, verstehen sie nichts.

For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
