D as Zeichen der Beschneidung empfing er zum Siegel der Gerechtigkeit des Glaubens, welchen er hatte, als er noch nicht beschnitten war, auf daß er würde ein Vater aller, die da glauben und nicht beschnitten sind, daß ihnen solches auch gerechnet werde zur Gerechtigkeit;

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
