U nd er ging hinaus und folgte ihm und wußte nicht, daß ihm wahrhaftig solches geschähe durch den Engel; sondern es deuchte ihn, er sähe ein Gesicht.

And he went out and continued to follow, and he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.
