J esus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: So ich von mir selbst zeugen würde, so ist mein Zeugnis wahr; denn ich weiß, woher ich gekommen bin und wohin ich gehe; ihr aber wißt nicht, woher ich komme und wohin ich gehe.

Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness concerning myself, my witness is true, because I know whence I came and whither I go: but ye know not whence I come and whither I go.
