J esus aber wandelte nicht mehr frei unter den Juden, sondern ging von dannen in eine Gegend nahe bei der Wüste, in eine Stadt, genannt Ephrem, und hatte sein Wesen daselbst mit seinen Jüngern.

Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed thence into the country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim; and there he tarried with the disciples.
