D a sie nun zuhörten, sagte er weiter ein Gleichnis, darum daß er nahe bei Jerusalem war und sie meinten, das Reich Gottes sollte alsbald offenbart werden,

As they heard these things, Jesus told them a picture-story. Because He was near Jerusalem, they thought the holy nation of God would come at once.
