A ber der Engel sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht, Zacharias! denn dein Gebet ist erhört, und dein Weib Elisabeth wird dir einen Sohn gebären, des Namen sollst du Johannes heißen.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
