D a trat hinein die Tochter der Herodias und tanzte, und gefiel wohl dem Herodes und denen die am Tisch saßen. Da sprach der König zu dem Mägdlein: Bitte von mir, was du willst, ich will dir's geben.

The daughter of Herodias came in and danced before them. This made Herod and his friends happy. The king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.”
