D a öffnete der HERR dem Bileam die Augen, daß er den Engel des HERRN sah im Wege stehen und ein bloßes Schwert in seiner Hand, und er neigte und bückte sich mit seinem Angesicht.

Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His sword drawn in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell on his face.
