u nd wenn sie sich gleich versteckten oben auf dem Berge Karmel, will ich sie doch daselbst suchen und herabholen; und wenn sie sich vor meinen Augen verbürgen im Grunde des Meeres, so will ich doch den Schlangen befehlen, die sie daselbst stechen sollen;

and though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
