D as erste wie ein Löwe und hatte Flügel wie ein Adler. Ich sah zu, bis daß ihm die Flügel ausgerauft wurden; und es ward von der Erde aufgehoben, und es stand auf zwei Füßen wie ein Mensch, und ihm ward ein menschlich Herz gegeben.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till its wings were plucked; and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon two feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
