D aß du aber gesehen hast die Füße und Zehen eines Teils Ton und eines Teils Eisen: das wird ein zerteiltes Königreich sein; doch wird von des Eisens Art darin bleiben, wie du es denn gesehen hast Eisen mit Ton vermengt.

Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.
