U nd er sprach zu mir: Fürchte dich nicht, Daniel; denn von dem ersten Tage an, da du von Herzen begehrtest zu verstehen und dich kasteitest vor deinem Gott, sind deine Worte erhört; und ich bin gekommen um deinetwillen.

And he said unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst give thy heart to understand and to afflict thy soul before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come because of thy words.
