U nd nun, du Menschenkind, ich habe dich zum Wächter gesetzt über das Haus Israel, wenn du etwas aus meinem Munde hörst, daß du sie von meinetwegen warnen sollst.

So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; and thou shalt hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me.
