W ider Damaskus. Hamath und Arpad stehen jämmerlich; sie sind verzagt, denn sie hören ein böses Geschrei; die am Meer wohnen, sind so erschrocken, daß sie nicht Ruhe haben können.

Concerning and against Damascus: Hamath and Arpad are confounded and put to shame, for they have heard bad news; they are fainthearted and wasting away; there is trouble and anxiety on a sea which cannot rest.
