U nd Jeremia sprach zu Zedekia: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Wirst du hinausgehen zu den Fürsten des Königs zu Babel, so sollst du leben bleiben, und diese Stadt soll nicht verbrannt werden, sondern du und dein Haus sollen am Leben bleiben;

And Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, Thus saith Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel: If thou wilt freely go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thy house.
