u nd da sie hineinkamen und es besaßen, gehorchten sie deiner Stimme nicht, wandelten auch nicht nach deinem Gesetz; und alles, was du ihnen gebotest, daß sie es tun sollten, das ließen sie; darum du auch ihnen all dies Unglück ließest widerfahren;

And they come in, and possess it, and they have not hearkened to Thy voice, and in Thy law have not walked, all that which Thou didst lay a charge on them to do they have not done, and Thou dost proclaim them all this evil.
