I ch ging hin an den Euphrat und grub auf und nahm den Gürtel von dem Ort, dahin ich ihn versteckt hatte; und siehe, der Gürtel war verdorben, daß er nichts mehr taugte.

Then I went to the Euphrates, and dug, and took the belt from the place where I had hidden it; and behold, the belt was marred, it was profitable for nothing.
