G ebet dem HERRN, eurem Gott, die Ehre, ehe denn es finster werde, und ehe eure Füße sich an den dunklen Bergen stoßen, daß ihr des Lichts wartet, so er's doch gar finster und dunkel machen wird.

Give glory to Jehovah your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the mountains of twilight; and ye shall look for light, but he will turn it into the shadow of death, and make gross darkness.
