W as soll mir die Menge eurer Opfer? spricht der HERR. Ich bin satt der Brandopfer von Widdern und des Fetten von den Gemästeten und habe keine Lust zum Blut der Farren, der Lämmer und Böcke.

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me ? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats.
