E s ist eine Eitelkeit, die auf Erden geschieht: es sind Gerechte, denen geht es als hätten sie Werke der Gottlosen, und sind Gottlose, denen geht es als hätten sie Werke der Gerechten. Ich sprach: Das ist auch eitel.

There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there are righteous unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; and there are wicked to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity.
