U nd die Cherubim sollen ihr Flügel ausbreiten von oben her, daß sie mit ihren Flügeln den Gnadenstuhl bedecken und eines jeglichen Antlitz gegen das des andern stehe; und ihre Antlitze sollen auf den Gnadenstuhl sehen.

And the cherubim shall stretch out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.
