M ose aber sprach zum HERRN: Das Volk kann nicht auf den Berg Sinai steigen; denn du hast uns bezeugt und gesagt: Mache ein Gehege um den Berg und heilige ihn.

And Moses said unto Jehovah, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou didst charge us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
