U nd der HERR sprach zu Mose: Schreibe das zum Gedächtnis in ein Buch und befiehls's in die Ohren Josuas; denn ich will den Amalek unter dem Himmel austilgen, daß man sein nicht mehr gedenke.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Write this a memorial in the book, and rehearse in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens.
