U nd man setzte Fronvögte über sie, die sie mit schweren Diensten drücken sollten; denn man baute dem Pharao die Städte Pithon und Raemses zu Vorratshäusern.

Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built the supply cities for Pharaoh: Pithom and Raamses.
