U nd des andern Tages versammelten sich die Obersten der Vaterhäuser unter dem ganzen Volk und die Priester und Leviten zu Esra, dem Schriftgelehrten, daß er sie in den Worten des Gesetzes unterrichtete.

And on the second day were gathered together the heads of fathers' houses of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to give attention to the words of the law.
