U nd es versammelte sich ein großes Volk und deckten zu alle Brunnen und den Bach, der mitten durchs Land fließt, und sprachen: Daß die Könige von Assyrien nicht viel Wasser finden, wenn sie kommen.

Thus many people gathered together who stopped all the springs and the brook that ran through the land, saying, “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water?”
