A ber der HERR tat ihnen Gnade und erbarmte sich ihrer und wandte sich zu ihnen um seines Bundes willen mit Abraham, Isaak und Jakob und wollte sie nicht verderben, verwarf sie auch nicht von seinem Angesicht bis auf diese Stunde.

But the Lord was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.
