U nd er ließ das Volk des achten Tages gehen. Und sie segneten den König und gingen hin zu ihren Hütten fröhlich und guten Muts über all dem Guten, das der HERR an David, seinem Knecht und an seinem Volk Israel getan hatte.

On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad in their hearts for all the goodness that Yahweh had shown to David his servant, and to Israel his people.
