U nd es ward dem König Salomo angesagt, daß Joab zur Hütte des HERRN geflohen wäre, und siehe, er steht am Altar. Da sandte Salomo hin Benaja, den Sohn Jojadas, und sprach: Gehe, schlage ihn!

King Solomon was told that Joab had run to the tent of the Lord, and was beside the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go and kill him.”
