A uch sandte David Boten zu Is-Boseth, dem Sohn Sauls, und ließ ihm sagen: Gib mir mein Weib Michal, die ich mir verlobt habe mit hundert Vorhäuten der Philister.

So David sent messengers to Ishbosheth, Saul’s son, saying, “Give me my wife Michal, whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines.”
