u nd sprach: Das lasse der HERR fern von mir sein, daß ich das tue! Ist's nicht das Blut der Männer, die ihr Leben gewagt haben und dahin gegangen sind? Und wollte es nicht trinken. Das taten die drei Helden.

And he said, Be it far from me, Jehovah, that I should do this thing! is it not the blood of the men that went at the risk of their lives? Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.
