s o sollt ihr sagen: Deine Knechte sind Leute, die mit Vieh umgehen, von unsrer Jugend auf bis her, beide, wir und unsre Väter, auf daß ihr wohnen möget im Lande Gosen. Denn was Viehhirten sind, das ist den Ägyptern ein Greuel.

that ye shall say, Thy servants have been keepers of cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
