U nd dies sind die Geschlechter Jakobs: Joseph war siebzehn Jahre alt, da er ein Hirte des Viehs ward mit seinen Brüdern; und der Knabe war bei den Kinder Bilhas und Silpas, der Weiber seines Vaters, und brachte vor ihren Vater, wo ein böses Geschrei wider sie war.

This is the history of the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. He was a boy with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s wives. Joseph brought an evil report of them to their father.
