D iese Leute sind friedsam bei uns und wollen im Lande wohnen und werben; so ist nun das Land weit genug für sie. Wir wollen uns ihre Töchter zu Weibern nehmen und ihnen unser Töchter geben.

`These men are peaceable with us; then let them dwell in the land, and trade it; and the land, lo, wide before them; their daughters let us take to ourselves for wives, and our daughters give to them.
