E t aujourd'hui, vous rejetez votre Dieu, qui vous a délivrés de tous vos maux et de toutes vos souffrances, et vous lui dites: Établis un roi sur nous! Présentez-vous maintenant devant l'Éternel, selon vos tribus et selon vos milliers.

But ye have this day rejected your God, who saves you out of all your afflictions and your troubles, and ye have said unto him, No, but set a king over us. Now, therefore, present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and by your thousands.
