B ien-aimés, ce n'est pas un commandement nouveau que je vous écris, mais un commandement ancien que vous avez eu dès le commencement; ce commandement ancien, c'est la parole que vous avez entendue.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
