T ous les gens de guerre qui étaient avec lui montèrent et s'approchèrent; lorsqu'ils furent arrivés en face de la ville, ils campèrent au nord d'Aï, dont ils étaient séparés par la vallée.

And all the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew near and came before the city and pitched camp on the north side of Ai; now there was a valley between them and Ai.
