J e pris votre père Abraham de l'autre côté du fleuve, et je lui fis parcourir tout le pays de Canaan; je multipliai sa postérité, et je lui donnai Isaac.

Then I took your father Abraham from the other side of the River. I led him through all the land of Canaan. I gave him many children, and I gave him Isaac.
