a lors tu frapperas du tranchant de l'épée les habitants de cette ville, tu la dévoueras par interdit avec tout ce qui s'y trouvera, et tu en passeras le bétail au fil de l'épée.

thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
