C e qui est bon a-t-il donc été pour moi une cause de mort? Loin de là! Mais c'est le péché, afin qu'il se manifestât comme péché en me donnant la mort par ce qui est bon, et que, par le commandement, il devînt condamnable au plus haut point.

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
