M ais il n'en est pas du don gratuit comme de l'offense; car, si par l'offense d'un seul il en est beaucoup qui sont morts, à plus forte raison la grâce de Dieu et le don de la grâce venant d'un seul homme, Jésus Christ, ont-ils été abondamment répandus sur beaucoup.

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
