J ésus reprit la parole, et dit: Un homme descendait de Jérusalem à Jéricho. Il tomba au milieu des brigands, qui le dépouillèrent, le chargèrent de coups, et s'en allèrent, le laissant à demi mort.

and Jesus having taken up, said, `A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and having stripped him and inflicted blows, they went away, leaving half dead.
